For as long as I can remember, I have loved preparing food and serving people. My mother nurtured this passion in me and by the age of 7, I was creating Sunday dinners on my own (Yes, my family ate and enjoyed them). This passion evolved into my journey of health and wellness through many yoga experiences around the world, over the past 20 years. During that time I embraced a vegetarian lifestyle while living in community. Since moving to Vancouver 4 years ago from San Francisco, my heart was drawn to refining my dietary choices and reaching for greater health and vitality. The universe answered my yearning 2 years ago, when a book on detoxing with raw foods jumped off a library shelf on vacation and I have been living and researching the living foods lifestyle ever since . The first year began with morning juicing and replacing 1 cooked meal with a raw meal each day. January 2008, my soul asked for more raw foods and since then I have been fully raw and never felt more alive! I have enjoyed experimenting with raw recipes and sharing the learning and lifestyle with the community here in BC.
My passion for connecting, inspiring and empowering people towards greater health and wellness is what makes my heart sing. I look forward to growing the RawBC community and increasing the awareness around the health benefits of raw foods.
