Rose Vasile, Director

Rose’s goal is to inspire people to add more raw foods to their diet. She is the Author of the popular book “Uncooking With RawRose – Your Guide to Raw Foods” (www.rawrose.com). Rose provides raw food classes and demos in many communities to show people how easy it is to prepare tasty raw foods. In November 2007 she hosted the first raw Dinner/Dance in BC (possibly in the world?). Rose has been eating mainly raw foods for almost seven years. As a result, she lost over fifty pounds and her food related allergies. She has more energy, improved digestion and a clearer complexion. Rose was trained as a Raw Gourmet Chef by Victoria Boutenko. In 2003 Rose left her 31 year career as a group insurance underwriter to help others heal with raw foods. She was the Director and an Instructor at Creative Health Institute in Michigan, which runs 2 week cleansing programs based on Dr. Anne Wigmore's teachings, emphasizing raw foods and wheatgrass juice. Rose helps coordinate the monthly Comox Valley Raw & Living Foods Potlucks. Prior to publishing her book in December 2006, Rose was the Coordinator of ZenZero Learning Centre for Optimum Health in Courtenay and worked in ZenZero’s Raw Lifestyle Store.
