Raw Journeys

Nature's Way

by Stephen Cochrane
March 2006

Having lived on a predominantly rawfood diet since the winter of 1988/89, I think back over the years and am thankful for the choice made to eat very closely to as nature intended. The concerns of any health problems and potential problems vanished.

Prior to learning about a rawfood diet I eliminated a bothersome asthmatic tendency by forsaking cow's milk and doing some herb and juice "cleansing" to lower toxicity levels. Shortly after that came the rawfood diet and asthma has never been a reoccurring impediment. Various "allergies" were eliminated as cleansing continued with a rawfood diet.

I have learned that acute disease is a curative process and there is no other way to cure than supporting and allowing the body to cure itself. Raw, naturally grown foods are the ultimate in daily nutritional support. Degenerative disease is reduced. The aging process for me has been slowed. Awareness has increased about self-healing.

I've learned we are predisposed to ideal health and will automatically reach it if we allow nature to take it's programmed course. Mental clarity has been enhanced and less rest seems to be required for recovery from physical and mental duress. Bad food addictions are barely a memory.

I fully believe that a rawfood vegan diet is the only ideal dietary of human beings and as such encourage others to study it, explore and discover what so many are still missing.

For health,

Stephen Cochrane
